On A Tangent

This has been a great thread - brings back a lot of good memories.

One of those memories was touring the engineering spaces of the battleship USS Iowa.

The Iowa class used eight 600 PSI boilers...

Howdy -


I'm an ex USN steam guy - was taught on an old FF running 1200 PSI superheated steam. Talk about keeping you on your toes! There were places in the boiler room you were not allowed to go...
