Default De Ja Vue All Over Again

The Howard Museum recently received a collection of photo's, scrap books and correspondence from the Jim Burns estate. Jim Burns was the designer of the DELTA QUEEN. In one of the scrap books was a letter to the editor of a San Francisco newspaper dated 1947. In the letter the writer was begging for help to keep the DELTA KING and QUEEN from being sold away from San Francisco. He felt that, if the boats were operated correctly, there was a ready market for the passenger trade between San Francisco and Sacremento.
