What is the real story with the Grand Old Lady? Last summer I heard that they had welded the crack in the boiler and the boat was good to go. In fact the person who told me the news said that the boat was able to run to the shipyard under her own steam if they wanted to. Now I hear that the boat can't get any steam up because the boiler leaks so badly and the boat has no heat. What is the real story?
I've heard that the boat is in pristine shape, but then someone said some of the showers in the sun deck staterooms leak and water pours down the main staircase. What is the real story?
How come there has been no comment on the recent grand reunion event? No stories about how nice it was to have a beer in the Texas Lounge, no stories about how nice it was to see old friends. Did it not go well, what is the real story?
