The very first DELTA QUEEN pamplet that was produced for the DQ's 1948 Innaugural Ohio River cruise by the Greene Line states S.S. DELTA QUEEN. Liferings onboard were lettered S.S. DELTA QUEEN, and stationary was printed with the S.S.DELTA QUEEN.

I have an actual life ring and life jacket from the Delta Queen. The ring is about three feet wide, white with black letters and 2 orange straps on it. The letters spell out S.S. Delta Queen.

The lifejacket is about the same age but older I believe. Its white with cork board in it, with S.S. Delta Queen on it. On the inside of the lifejacket when you open it, dozens of inspection stamps cover it, the earliest being May 1940 and latest being 1969. I'm pretty proud to have both pieces!
