Default Waterways Journal Ad 51yrs. ago

While rummaging through one of my "old dusty" boxes, I came across this ad I cut out of the Waterways Journal sometime in 1957 or 1958. The DELTA QUEEN sure was in bad straights back then, it really looked like she would never run again. As I remember there were no serious buyers. Thank goodness for Dick Simonton's kids convincing him to finance the boat. As they say, "the rest is history".
I believe the asking price was a whopping $125,000.
