Last Cruise of the Delta Queen DVD's

At last we have finished the DVD's from the video shot during the final overnight cruise of the DQ last October. It has ended up as a 3 hour 28 minute show which is on three DVD's. All three are in one set as follows: Disk 1- Cincinnati to just before landing in Louisville (72 mins.), Disk 2- Louisville to Paducah (77 mins.) and Disk 3- Cape Giradeau to Memphis (58 mins.).

They are in wide screen format with stereo sound. All disks have chapter menus so you can access any chapter you want instantly. If you have a regular TV, the show will be letter boxed to give you the widescreen effect. If you have a wide screen TV, the picture should fill your screen.

I did minimum narration for better enjoyment of the DQ herself. On Disk 1 you can select a non-narrated version. On the others I didn't include that option in order to boost the picture resolution a little but again, I kept the commentary to a minimum.

Folks,
Don't pass this up. The quality is wonderful. Jim did a GREAT job. (Yes, I had a sneak peek). There is more whistle blowing and calliope playing than you've ever heard before. You'll get chills and goosebumps. He has some wonderful footage. And no, I didn't get paid for the advertisement. ;-))

I agree! I've only had time to look at disk 1, but so far it's great! (and that's not just becuase Linda & I are in one of the shots! :) )
Hmm, now to get a giant wall TV and have the DQ "sail" in my living room. . . .
