Another clip I shot of the DQ's last voyage. This time, the boat is passing Augusta, KY at dusk. The ferry captain had some passengers who asked him to come out behind the DQ for them to take some pictures, which he did. You can hear him thank Captain Dugger for blowing the whistle. As the ferry crosses, the DQ moves into the fading sun. Adding to this were bells from the Augusta High School carillon. I think they added a lot. Click on the higher setting for a better picture.

The carillon was the recipient of 40 new musical selections made famous by Rosemary Clooney, who lived in Augusta. Her widower still lives there and the Clooney family was on hand for the dedication of the new tunes. Here's a link to a web page about that:
