For the second time this week, the Delta Queen has appeared in the St. Louis news. This time, it was on television, too. The report was broadcast on KTVI Fox 2. It talked about how the DQ exemption has the support of US Rep. Clay of St. Louis. As you recall, Rep Clay was at Rep Chabot's press conference the other day. There's no video of the DQ report on the Fox 2 website, but it is nice to see this issue out in front for the second time this week. And, this is "sweeps month" in the broadcasting industry. You would think that they would have sensationalized the issue (example headline: "fire trap may be docked permanently"), or buried it all together, to give us a "riveting" report about how unsafe it is to eat asphalt.
In addition, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch had another article on the Delta Queen, specifically referring to Rep Clay's vow to help fight for the DQ.
