Default Maritime Heritage Conference

On Oct 9-12, the Maritime Museum of San Diego is sponsoring the Eighth Maritime Heritage Conference. They expect 500 or so people who are interested in maritime history to attend.

Primarily, they are interested in ocean-going craft, but it still might be a good place to try to spread the word about the Delta Queen. The call for papers has closed, so it is too late to try to make some kind of presentation. Lots of interesting stuff to be presented.

For more information go to and follow the link to the Maritime Heritage Conference.

Unfortunately, I'm primarily a steam locomotive guy, and I've already made arrangements to be working on a couple of locomotives in Nevada during the Maritime Conference.
