This week in River History

According to an article in the "Vevay Reveille-Enterprise", 70 years ago this week the U.S. Lighthouse tender GREENBRIER installed an new automated "electric eye" light at the Patriot Bend. This was said to be the first of its kind ever placed on the Ohio River.
