Greetings From New Orleans .
I remember , " The Fish " ! I have to admit that I did not really know her that well , but what I do recall about her was that she had a certain unique and unpretensious and undefinable presence about her . She was the " Genuine Article " ! There was nothing phony about her ! She was one of those special people that always went about her own way but was always ready to give anyone a smile , a hand and if necessary even the shirt off her back and never ever expected or demanded any type of recognition or payment for her kindness and generosity !
In my sixty years of perpetual motion , I have noticed that there have been times when special and unique individuals have come into our lives and have made their presence known to us and have offered us an insight into what is really important in life and more importantly what is not !
The " Fish " and others like her have been and will always be sorely missed by all !
I guess it is true , " the good , they do die young " !
Smooth Sailing !
