Default Illness on MQ - praise for staff & crew

We have just heard from our friends on the MQ who were affected by the illness on board. They have nothing but praise for the new owners and the Captain, staff and crew who did everything they could to make them and other passengers feel more comfortable during this trying time. From standing at the dining room entrance spraying passenger hands with sanitizer, cleaning and disinfecting all areas, loading passengers in ambulances and buses, they worked around the clock to give a helping hand where needed. Even though many of the crew lost earnings, helping passengers was their main object. Knowing the staff and crew of the Mississippi Queen I am not surprised by their pitching in. As for the new owners, hats off to you also. Because of the way you have dealt with this situation, my friends and I feel we are in good hands. My friends have now left the boat in Paducah (both ended up sick) and will be returning home. Thanks again from them. God bless all of you.
