Default My Thoughts On The American Queen

Let me start by saying I had never stepped foot aboard the AMERICAN QUEEN until my wife and I boarded her here in Louisville a couple of weeks ago. I found the boat to be nearly perfect in every way for what she is intended to do...cruise the rivers. No, she's not the DELTA QUEEN, to me (I know a lot of you won't like me after this) for this day and time she is better.
The room was comfortable, the crew was friendly and helpful....I heard no discontent from any crew member. The boat operated perfectly. The passengers were all very nice and friendly. It was the first cruise I've ever been on where I heard no complaints from anyone, period. The food was great as well as the dining room service. And of course the Upper Ohio was absolutely gorgeous.
It appears to me that the AQSCO is trying to do everything they can to make cruising on the AMERICAN QUEEN a wonderful experience.
I will definetly go again when I can afford it.
