Default Inland rivers commerce display

Good morning all,

In a recent article it was mentioned that the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana was interested in having an event(s) in conjunction with the Belle of Louisville's 100th Birthday celebration next year. I've been working about every angle I can think of to have my former COE dredge tender there for the celebration. One thought that crossed my mind was to have a inland river industry display somewhere during the event. I've been told the Louisville city front is not a viable option but perhaps Jeffersonville is. So If you could hand pick vessels to go into this display what vessels would you like to see there? Here are my picks: WP Snyder Jr., JS Lewis, Susan C. McBride, The COE crane Shreve, A/M steam crane (if it still exists), calliope and whistle barge Anna Marie, a modern ACBL towboat, the diesel sternwheeler Standard, and my little dredge tender. Since not a part of the actual Belle's celebration there would be a small charge to tour these boats as well as the Howard Museum to help offset the cost of insurance. Your thoughts and suggestions are welcomed to this pipe dream of mine.
