Fr. Thomas Fehr of Grace Episcopal Church in Pomeroy asked me what the mileage is for Pomeroy. His church sits right in the bend above town after the old public school and before the old Kroger store when headed upriver. He hopes for Grace Episcopal to become involved with The Seamen's Church Union and to have the church's Ohio River mile to be listed on the church's letterhead and bulletin. He mentioned that one day he would like to have a memorial to river mariners whom have lost their lives while at work.

I gave away my old river charts, and am hoping someone can post the mileage for the church or downtown Pomeroy here.
