I got off (at Memphis!) on Dec. 23rd, and so was home for Christmas. I had been on the Illinois and was thankful we had no ice to deal with. We had one of the best Christmases in quite a while, and are looking forward to New Years with 2 parties to go to, etc.
Yes, channel 67 is used from the Head of Passes to about 10 miles above Baton Rouge, where channel 13 is used almost everywhere else, except the Arkansas River, which is channel 16. The Tenn-Tom and the Black Warrior-Tombigbee are also on channel 16 for traffic, etc.
