David Kelly, an operations veteran with expertise across the upscale and luxury cruise sectors, is joining the Great American Steamboat Co. as vp hotel operations, Seatrade Insider has learned.

The new position initially reports directly to ceo Jeff Krida.

Kelly brings more than 14 years of experience in cruise operations including hotel, finance, port, marine and shipyard operations.

Earlier positions were with Azamara Club Cruises, Oceania Cruises, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Silversea Cruises and Renaissance Cruises.
