Bob,

That is the single most amazing discovery I have seen on the internet related to the MISSISSIPPI QUEEN! I looked through the pictures and found things I never knew, like about the creator of the bas reliefs from the Centre Bar (Philip Kemp). Wonder where they ended up (as they were removed in a remodel in the late 1980's)? She was so well thought out, it is a wonder she didn't survive.

Someday, someone will get all this together and print the quintessential book on her. This is just one of the findings that must be part of it. Not to mention interviews with her first crew (who are left) and her last crew (get on that while you can...cause some of them are gonna start to check out soon, too!).

Seems a shame there was so much put into her and no one realizes the loss.
