Greetings From New Orleans ,
Last week I was visitied by two good old time river friends and steamboat shipmates and while they were here , the third and final Str. American Queen , riverlorian received word that she was hired after an extensive interview just a few weeks ago in Cincinnati and will be joining the AQ , when she makes her first cruise in April !

Lexie , its my understanding that the " Powers That Be " are now taking applications for the position of " River Lorian " and that three will be hired and the Str. American Queen still has plans to come back into operation in April of next year !
The Str. American Queen is still at the Bollinger Shipyard on the Calcasieu River undergoing refurbishing and maintenance !
