Default Just Wish They Would Tell The Rest Of The Story !

Greetings From New Orleans ,
Over the last few days , weeks and even months all the national media networks have been for the most part reporting on this spring's record level flooding . I would also say that for the most part , I think that they have all been doing an adequate job BUT , I for one just wish they would also tell the REST of the story ! Yes , some have touched on the blowing of the levees and the human tragedy of this natural disaster BUT what they have NOT touched on is simply what it is like to have to WORK in this natural disaster and these dangerous and adverse conditions !
Wouldn't it be just an awesome project for at least one of these national networks to have an on going story by a nationally recognized reporter and a limited camera crew on board a south bound tow boat and then to record and report on ALL the hardships , trials and tribulations of what it is REALLY like to live and work in these now numerous and adverse conditions !
Just imagine what it would be like to be there and then witness and report on a large south bound tow flanking around Wilkenson Point and then driving through and literally sliding through the upper Baton Rouge Hwy. & Railroad bridge ! Then to report and record on this same large south bound tow making it way down the river and to navigate through the hardest river route in this country's river system !
I think that this would and could make a great Human Interest story as well and no telling what just might develope from this unique story ! Contemporary novels , contemporary movies and just possibly a weekly television program , just to name a few of what life is really like to not only work but to also live on the river , especially now in these extreme and record setting conditions on the greatest river on earth ! I for one also think that this would be a great opportunity to really show not only this country but the entire world what these inland mariners have to deal with and how dedicated and skilled they are to their profession !
Just Food For Thought !
Smooth Sailing !
