Default More high water news on the Ohio...

The floating restaurant, Jeff Ruby's, in Covington just above the Clay Wade Bailey bridge broke loose from it's moorings friday night at approximately 21:20CST. The restaurant which is built on a barge, is currently wedged against the left descending pier of the Clay Wade Bailey bridge (the next bridge downriver from the Suspension bridge) and has approximately 150 people aboard.

As of 23:30 CST, Several boats have responded and are trying to evacuate all the people and keep the barge from breaking loose from the bridge pier and floating down onto the other bridges downstream.

The USCG has the river closed from mile 465-480. Hoping the best for everyone involved...

John
