Shipping Port Project

Hey everyone,

I have a project coming up that I just need to write a paper on a shipping port, it can be currently active or a historic port. I wanted to do an inland water port, what all would you think would be interesting to do that I could connect back to steamboat history, make it fun for me to write and research. Also it'd be better if I was able to readily access the information pertaining to the port.

Any ideas would be great, hope you all are doing well and thanks!
