Frank: It took me a while, but I finally found a picture or two of Mayor Lucy Lou's predecessor as Rabbit Hash Mayor. In the one, Junior is demonstrating what politicians do best...or, mebbe, second best! In the other, he is riding to work in MISSIE to the shipyard. He was not only in charge of the dog watch, but held the high office of marking the tires of incoming cars so that they might be ticketed if they were there more than three weeks. Junior's, predecessor, Snoopy, the very first Mayor of Rabbit Hash had weak kidneys and some say that when an 18 wheeler parked at Rabbit Hash over-night, the effort did him in! THEN, some say, there was the time that the DELTA QUEEN stopped there with her BIG wheel and...but, that story has never been verifried. Cap'n Walnut
