Default 'GENERAL JACKSON' Questions

This came up in another thread, but it got lost amongst the numerous other posts, so I figured I'd make it a new one. When the GENERAL JACKSON first came out, she had a small boiler to make steam for the whistle and calliope. Judy asked what happened to that boiler (I guess it's not there anymore?), and I would like to know where the calliope came from. If anyone has any knowledge on either subject, enquiring minds would like to know :)
