The Captain Fritz

Hi!
I'm new. My ancestors lived in Freeport, Florida. Censuses state that both John B. Croft and his son John B. (Jr) were Engineers. John B. Jr. was definitely a pilot for The Captain Fritz, classified as a coastal schooner. The Fritz sailed from Freeport to DeFuniak Springs, Panama City, Pensacola and New Orleans. Where can I go to find out more about the men who worked on her and another possible ancestor, Captain Jack Croft?
