Default Meeting of the Mat(t)'s

It was a long 7-hour ride from Lake George to Mayville, but it was worth it. The Chautauqua Belle was very well taken care of, and Mat Stage and his staff were all very friendly. The Captain had a great sense of humor and the Chief Ray was a very interesting character. I had a great time on the cruise and was even interviewed about my family's operations (thats what I get for wanting to go up to the pilothouse!) I wish I could have stayed longer. Here are some pictures from the trip, and the video of the boat's whistle will be up on youtube as soon as it can be. If anyone ever wants to ride a steamboat that's not the 'Natchez' or the 'Belle of Louisville', this Belle is definitely a good alternative. She may be small, but she packs a punch
