Default Houston to Huntington

This weekend the Houston Yacht Club had its grand reopening following the devastation of Hurricane Ike last September. Bob Schad and I were thrilled to be invited down to do a show and to play for a brunch that preceded the opening ceremonies today. A lagniappe for Bob and me was the fact our good friend and fellow displaced steamboat entertainer, Paul Penta, drove down from his home in Copperas Cove, Texas to visit with us and to sit in on guitar and vocals. What a fun time and pleasant reunion for us all, as we also got to enjoy spending time with our hosts Ross and Sandy Tuckwiller, who used to operate the P.A. Denny in Charleston, WV.

So, the next time we're together is in Huntington, WV when we perform with the Huntington Symphony on June 13. Circumstances have prevented us doing a second engagement on Sunday, June 14 with the 1937 Flood.

For information about tickets to the Symphony concert on June 13, please go to the Huntington Symphony's website
