Dan,
The Hawaiian ships were bought up by Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL). The first one was transported to Germany, cut in half and lengthened (and maybe more) and became the PRIDE OF AMERICA (which is now the only ship left for NCL America). The second one was never started. It was more or less the steel plates gathered together. Anyway it became the PRIDE OF HAWAIŽI. This ship was taken out of the HawaiŽi service and renamed NORWEGIAN JADE last year. WeŽve spent Christmas and New Year on the JADE in the Mediterrenean :-).
The Cape ships have been sold last May to the Clipper Group and it was said that the ships are going to be renamed CLIPPER DISCOVERER and CLIPPER VOYAGER.
Last news were that they are becoming condo ships, see here:
Senior retirement options, retirement ship, independent living facility, condo ship Cape Canaveral FL
WeŽll see how long those plans are lasting.
