Default DQ was in "Night Of The Hunter"!

I was just watching that wonderfully creepy Robert Mitchum movie from the mid-50's, "Night Of The Hunter". on TV--- first time I'd seen it in probably 20 years--and in the first 15 minutes a steamboat goes by. First you hear the unmistakable whistle-- then a boat's-eye view of the paddlewheel-- then you see the whole boat from the port side, slowly passing behind the actors! It lingers in view for that scene, is mentioned by the old man on the bank to the kid (not by name but by "passes every day at this time" or something like that). What an unexpected thrill it was to chance upon my work-home for 10 years, in a famous movie from '56! It must've had passengers enjoying the river then too (whichever river it was; does anyone know?)
