Default AMCV Cape Boats.

The MARAD has announced that they have finally goteen rid of the Cape May Light and the Cape Cod Light. Marad sold the for 9 million each, or 18 million total. MARAD was holding the sack for $ 76.4 million, plus an estimated 2.5 million in storage and upkeep. That means the U.S. taxpayer just lost 58.4 million hard earned dollars. Buyer was Voyager Owner.LLC and Discovery Owner,LLC. Both are just fronts for the Clipper Group. MARAD made a big deal out of the boats will be U.S. Registry and Flag, but a close reading of the agreement says only for three years. Clipper has entered into an agreement for International Shipping Partners to operate the boats. Both boats are in Green Cove Springs, Florida. Not a single dollar payment was ever made on either boat. Slick Sam really stung the U.S. citizens.
