Thanks for the comments. I arrived at McAlpine locks about 7 am, only to find that the DQ had departed about 6 am. After dodging Louisville traffic I finally caught up to her just prior to West Point. Using the Deloriane map I managed to get to about 15 locations between West Point and Channelton. So, this was an "all day until dark" trip. Cannelton Lock arrival was about 8:30 PM EDT. At one site, after explaining that I was looking for a road to the river, a local farmer gave me a ride through his muddy fields on an ATV to his private boat launch! I only posted thumbnails of a few views. The best photos (hopefully) will be on film...need to wait a week or two. Will make some prints to bring on our July St. L - Nashville trip for anyone on that run.
