Steamboating colleagues:
Cincinnati's 'rally' in suport of the DELTA QUEEN initiative will be today, Monday, May 5th, 12:00 noon on the plaza adjacent to the paddlewheel memorial, Cincinnati Public Landing. This rally is well organized with publicity beginning last week and over the weekend. Morning TV here included the announcement with fine views of the DQ in the morning sun. Rep. Steven Chabot, dignitaries, historians, river personalities will be attending. TV spot earlier even included 'DQ history questions' for viewers. Question: T or F. 'Did the DELTA QUEEN have a career with the U.S. Navy?' After the commercial break the answer was given with data. Hope to get down there if I'm out of the dental chair in time.
