*Today's DQ 'rally' on TV news:*
Steamboating colleagues:
WCPO Channel 9 TV here in Cincinnati just ran a piece--though quite brief--on the DQ rally here today. Rep. Steven Chabot got in some words along with great shots of the boat close and afar in the spring sun. Nothing as fair as a steamboat day in May. The 'SAVE THE DELTA QUEEN' banners on the boat got a lot of attention. Saw a couple of familiar faces in the crowd and the DQ signs looked great. Re. Chabot went aboard the boat later for a visit. I'll send Channel 9 a 'thanks' for the coverage they provided beginning last week. Thanks to Vicki Webster and all others concerned.
