Default Doc's talk: Open House is cancelled

Things are rolling along for Doc's Henry Farnam dinner talk this Friday, with approximately 300 people signed up. We will have a table displaying the DELTA QUEEN's plight along with petitions to sign, courtesy of the Farnam dinner committee. However, I feel I must cancel my Open House, as it is too treacherous to park and try to climb the mounds of ice snowplowed from the streets, to reach my sidewalks. I had hoped that warmer weather might come and melt these away, but no such luck. In fact, more snow is predicted this week, but not on the dinner day. So to those who may have planned to attend my 'museum' open house, I'm sorry. We'll plan something sometime in warmer weather - like maybe getting a group together to take the 2 day TWILIGHT cruise out of LeClaire? And we'll have an Open House WITH Planters Punch even!
