Default Courier-Journal Article, February 8, 2008

The following article appeared this morning in the Louisville Courier-Journal in light of the recent tornadoes. Sirens have had their chance since the tornado outbreak of April, 1974. They are not intended to be audible from indoors and are being replaced by weather radios.

It's time to give a new technology a chance and create a new industry to boost Kentucky's economy. We may be seeing more whistles in our future!
