Deposit refunds cancelled Columbia Queen Cruise
Does anyone know the status concerning refunds of deposits from the May 2006 Columbia Queen cruise? Were any of you booked? We can't get any info from the Federal Maritime Comm. handling the issue. We know the CQ's 1st mortgage was picked up. We submitted our dispute to Discover Card and they refuse to give us a credit because the dispute is over 180 days, (made deposit Feb.2005, but CQ cancelled cruises in 2006) and they haven't received a reply from the merchant, therefore according to law Discover can not go after them.?? I can't get any clear answers from them. $700.00 is a lot to lose. Suggestions?? Thank you.
