Default River Terms ????

Greetings From New Orleans ,
Over the past few days , both while at work and at home I've been thinking of other " River Related Terms " that many of us that do actually work the river use on a daily basis that many hear just may not be too familiar with . For example ; Anchor Fleet , Back Spring , Tow Line , Bluff Bank , Bull Nose , Long Wall , Short Wall , Hull Inspector , Greenville Flank , Slow Steer , Saddlebag , Lateral Set , Point Way , Soft Dike , Chute , Towhead , Timberhead , Kavel , Ratchet , Rip Rap and Mat Revetment just to name a few . Food for thought Folks .
Smoothe Sailing !
