Default Clueless MAL decision makers

I bet this "MAL decision maker" has no idea what a steamboat looks like, or should look like. Maybe she's related to the original "designer" of the MQ. While the Majestic America Line beauty consultants might think that the blue is cute or flattering, in reality it is awful on these boats. Blue gingerbread features and a big blue wall? C'mon! A blue splashboard on the DQ? Terrible! I'm still hating the skinny smokestack, and that's a few years old already. What's next, neon on the paddlewheel, like the phony paddlewheel features on river casinos? Or, maybe an all blue MQ? Maybe that's the secret to the renovations of the boat. Ah, the "MBMQ" (Midnight Blue Mississippi Queen).

All I can say is "way to go passengers!" Comment cards are one thing, but direct comments to the person(s) responsible is even stronger, and rather rare. When Bruce N, from then-owner DNC, was a frequent steamboats.org visitor a few years ago, that was an opportunity to "ask the tough questions", as well.
