" Three Queens " A Winning Hand ??

Greetings From New Orleans ,
Well as luck would have it , the Crescent City is being graced by the presence of royality , " Three Queens " . The Str. American Queen is now tied up at the old Robin Street Wharf and her two older sisters , the Str's. Mississippi Queen and Delta Queen are tied off across the river at the Perry Street Wharf . I for one have often wondered if there was ever a time when all three boats were ever tied off together ? Hope you enjoy the shots .

Didn't all three boats tie off together in Paducah a few times? Or is the one flood wall mural a fantasy?

Nice shots, Ted. In the other thread, showing the MQ and the DQ together, what was the point of removing the MQ's stage? You can see it's been removed in the second picture above, too. Anybody know?

Does the New Orleans Levee Board charge dockage fee by the linear foot? If that's the case, that may explain why the sage is removed. Just a thought, heck, what do I know?

Something I forgot to say in my last posting......Ted, thank you for your input and especially your photos. I for one enjoy them and find them fascinating especially the recent one of the DQ passing the ship; it's a classic. You are right it does keep things in perspective.
