Rumor has It ......
Greetings From New Orleans ,
Rumor has it that there is a prospective buyer of the Str. Delta Queen in the Nashville , Tenn. area . What he she or they do with the boat is anyones guess but this information comes from a fairly reliable source . Also , it is rumored that the present company of the DQ , is not behind the effort to save the Queen for another congressional exemption and that they plan to use the revenues from the sale of the DQ to refurbish the MQ . Time will tell , but if this is true , what a shame to sell the DQ in order to refurbish the MQ . Hope the rumor is unfounded but it appears to me that this may explain the companies lack of enthusiasm to save the DQ .
