Default Origin Of Corps Of Engineers Logo

Greetings From New Orleans ,
In my last few postings , there has been some discussion over the origination of the Corps Of Engineers logo . Some believe that the Corp's logo stems from the old Louisian state capital building and others believe it comes from the the Engineering building at the West Point military academy . Well , after some checking and surfing the net , it appears that the logo comes from the West Point engineering building . The Corps has a " History " web page and it can be seen at : www.hq.usace.army.mi/history/faq.htm#Q1 . Hope this dispells some myths and rumors .
Smoothe Sailing !
