Keeping It In Perspective
Greetings From Manchac Point ,
This is a shot I took of the Str. Delta Queen in a meeting situation with a modern day oil tanker on Manchac Point , approximately river mile 215 ahp , LMR . This shot was taken after I had just overtaken the Delta Queen and had just met the north bound ship . This shot also give yous an appreciation for the size , draft and enormity of the ships that we bring up to the Exxon refinery in Baton Rouge . Just another day at the office .
