Default from the 70s-80s DQ Lowell Schreyer

http://www.mankatomortuary.com/secti...p?obit_id=1262
This is the link to the obit of Lowell Schreyer, well known banjo player to those of us who rode the DQ in the 1970s and 80s. Lowell substituted for Vic Tooker and Fred Dodd. He was a member of the Turkey River Allstars out of Rochester, MN, who have my alltime favorite motto: "We want to play for you in the worst way." Lowell first appeared on the DQ with this group and then served individually for many years on both the DQ and MQ. Lowell could always be found at the shore stops at the local newspaper and library doing research for his book on the history of the banjo. Lowell's daughter Debbie followed in his banjo playing footsteps and often appeared as a guest on the DQ.
