Default Farewell RIVER QUEEN

The RIVER QUEEN passed downbound at 2PM, today, probably for the last time. Word was flying around that Cap'n AB had sold the pristine Scuffy-the-Tugboat-look-a-like down the river, and yes, it's true-- The RQ is headed for Charleston, South Carolina, so the deliver pilot informed us.

Good Luck and God-Speed to a Fair Ship.

RIVER QUEEN
Twin screw excursion boat, b. 1986 by Serodino, Inc., Guild, TN. 130 X 35. Cummins NT855-M diesels, 580 hp, 525 Passengers. Orig. RIVER QUEEN, renamed STAR OF KNOXVILLE 1991. Sold and renamed by BB Riverboats, Inc., Covington, KY. 699243

Didn't Captain Bates design this beauty? Alan? (There's got to be a good story here.)
