Is the Delta Going Back to Birmingham and Mobile? I was on the DQ in July when the rudder was damaged. We never got Mobile. We futhest south we traveled was to where the Black Warrior River and the Tom Bigbee meet. The damage was sustained north of there on the Tom Bigbee almost to Columbus, Mississippi (we were trapped there for 4 days) I wonder if the Delta Queen is going to actually go back down the Tom Bigbee to Birmingham and then Mobile again this October as scheduled? Will the DQ risk it or is the water higher now?
