Default Low River On The Lower

Greetings From New Orleans ,
Well , its that time of year again when the Lower Mississippi River really drops out and to the point where the Corps Of Engineers has closed the river in four different locations between Cairo and New Orleans , so their dredges can get in and dig out the channel . Now having said that , due to all the rain that has recently occured in the Midwest , I am sure it will help with the re-opening of these different low areas and I noticed that St. Louis alone was rising over two feet a day . In the accompaning picture is the Corps Of Engineers , Dredge Jadwin , digging out the deep water crossing in the Belmont Ranges , adjacent to the Oak Alley Plantation . Also , in the background , is the Str. Delta Queen , laying there at Oak Alley as well .
As Always , Smoothe Sailing !
