Hello Friends, I wanted to post some exciting information about an event/excursion on the Belle Of Cincinnati. I'll have to see if my schedule allows me to do it but I would love to. Sounds like a lot of fun:

Here is the itinerary:

November 1

8:00 till 8:45 am in the BB Riverboat parking lot we will receive passengers. Banjo Bob and I will check passengers in, get their luggage on board, and get them coffee and donuts on the coach.
8:45 the coach will depart BBR for New Albany Indiana
10:00 am we should arrive in New Albany to get on board the BOC. Hopefully, the boat will be there!!!!! If not, we have built in time for a delay.
Lunch will be served at 12 noon.
1:30 pm we will arrive in West Point Kentucky, a small civil war town very close to Fort Knox. We will stop there to let people who want to walk up into town for about 1.5 hours
3:00 pm return to the BOC to proceed down the river. At this point we will change our clocks to central standard time or one hour back.
4:00 pm happy hour starts.
5:30 pm a full scrumptious dinner buffet will be served.
7:00 pm we will arrive in Leavenworth Indiana to catch the bus to Owensboro Kentucky. We will overnight at the Executive Inn right on the river. The boat will proceed to Owensboro over night

November 2

Breakfast is in the hotel at 8:00 am.
The boat will have arrived at the public landing just in front of the hotel. Most people will walk to the boat but those who choose not to can take the bus.
The boat will depart Owensboro at 9:30 am for Evansville Indiana
We will have a great lunch at 12 noon. The boat will arrive at 1:30 on the LST World War II ship for a two hour guided tour. We will depart Evansville at 3:30 pm.
We will have happy hour at 4 pm. Dinner will be served at 5:30 pm.
We will arrive in Henderson Kentucky at 7 pm and the bus will take us to the Aztar casino hotel for the evening.

November 3

Breakfast is at the hotel at 8:00 am. We will load the bus at 8:45 and drive to Shawneetown Ill to catch the boat. We will depart Shawneetown at 10:00 am. We will have lunch on board before stopping at Cave-in-Rock ill for an historic pirate cave where many steamboats were robbed and pilfered.
We will depart Cave-in-Rock Ill for Golconda Ill. At 4 pm happy hour, and 5:30 dinner. We will arrive Golconda at 7 pm. The bus will take us to an Inn on the Land Between the Lakes where we will spend two nights.

November 4

We will get on the bus at 8:00 am sharp. Breakfast will be on board the BOC. We will leave our dock and cruise Lake Barkley for half the day. After lunch, we will return to Kentucky Lake where we will cruise the rest of the day and into the evening. The natural beauty of the lakes and all the wildlife we keep everyone entertained till we return to our dock at around 8 pm. As the passengers disembark, the crew will say goodbye because the boat will depart for Cape on the Mississippi.

November 5

Passengers will have breakfast at 7:30 am and will need to be on the bus by 8:30 for the trip back to Newport Kentucky. The bus ride is approximately 6 hours and a one hour ahead time change. Everyone should be back to Newport by 5 pm local time. End of the 2007 riverhop.
