Default DQ's boilers pass inspection

From my highly placed source in the engine room crew of the DELTA QUEEN, I learned this evening that the DELTA QUEEN's boilers have passed their annual inspection today. The metallic packing in the main engines has been replaced, the stage and capstan engines have been tuned up and ready for service, the generators are humming, and the air conditioning has been tested. All that needs to be done now are the safety valves set and put heat under the number 1 boiler; the number 2 boiler has had steam on it for the past couple of weeks. So mechanically it looks like the QUEEN will be ready for its scheduled departure.
