Ticonderoga

The steamboat Ticonderoga is a National Historic Landmark and the last of its kind, a walking beam side-wheel steamboat. Built in Shelburne in 1906, it operated on Lake Champlain until 1953. Since 1955 the boat is land-based and part of the Shelburne Museum.
