Model Steamboat Plans -Rex Stewart

Members:

Since joining this forum, which I'm delighted to be part of, I've been recently receiving requests for plans concerning my models. Unfortunately, because one of my models NANTUCKET was duplicated by a model company from my original concepts (and marketed), I have since ceased this practice.

Furthermore, there has been some discrepancies in the maritime community as to the true author of these steamboat originals/plans. Let it be said that, with the enclosed attachments, I am the true author and have been since 1980. i owe it to my past and current collectors to secure my works for their enjoyment and investment. However, I exhibit occasionally at forums and shows which afford the public a visual of these beautiful and interesting vessels.

I appreciate your requests, but must honor my pieces by keeping them high-end and 'original'.
Thanks for understanding.

Model plans for which boats, Mr. Stewart? Over the years I have granted permission to use my drawings to a number of persons. Even so quite a few cheats have either failed to give credit or have given erroneous ones. Pretty much nothing can be done about it and the attorneys get the awards.
